Tejvan Pettinger of Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team has got off to a flying start to the hill climb season, winning his first three races and setting two new course records in the process.

In the first hill climb of the season on Snake Pass, Tejvan set a new course record of 11.36 for the 3 mile hill at 7% gradient. Team Raleigh professional Graham Briggs was 2nd in 11.48

snake-pass-2013-tejvan-adrian-shingler-gkv.jpgThe next weekend was the Buxton CC 4.44 mile event at Long Hill. A headwind reduced times, but Tejvan won in a time of 13.13. 2nd place was Adam Kenway of Team Zenith in 13.41

Tejvan3-cat-fiddle.jpgOn September 22nd, Tejvan won the Weaver Valley CC event on the Cat & Fiddle. He broke Mark Lovatt's 9 year old course record of 18.30 with a new time of 18.16. The record involved riding at an average speed of 22mph for the 6 mile climb, averaging 3%.

 

This weekend, Tejvan has entered two hill climbs in the south of England with fellow Sri Chinmoy CT rider Aryavan Lanham.
