More course records fell for Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team rider, Tejvan Pettinger in recent hill climb races.

On Sat 28th September, Pettinger won the John Bornoft Hill climb promoted by Kingston Wheelers. Pettinger finished in 1st place, shaving 0.7 seconds off his own course record to set a new time of 3.33.1 - 17 seconds in front of second place Pete Tadros.

Also riding for Sri Chinmoy CT, Aryavan Lanham finished in 46th place with a time of 6.09.

 The next day, the Sri Chinmoy CT duo travelled to Porlock for the inaugural Minehead CC Porlock Road hill climb. Pettinger again finished 1st place, averaging 18mph up the four mile climb to finish in a time of 13.24 - over 1 minute ahead of second place Charles Coleman of VC Walcott. Aryavan Lanham finished in 63rd place in a time of 21.56

 

On Saturday the 5th of October. Pettinger continued his good run of form to take the Otley CC two stage hill climb. Setting another course record on the first climb of the day up Guise Edge.

Finally, on Sunday the 6th October, Pettinger made it four wins in eight days by squeezing in front of Rapha Condor JLT pro Richard Handley to win the prestigious Fibrax Wrexham RC hill climb up the horseshoe pass in North Wales. Pettinger's time of 9.15 was 12 seconds off the course record and 6 seconds in front of Handley.
