About the author:

Tejvan organises short-distance running and cycling races for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in his home city of Oxford. He is also a very good cyclist, having won the National hill climb championships in 2013 and finished 3rd in the National 100 Mile Time Trials in 2014.

In June 2026 members of Sri Chinmoy Centre cycled together 98'864 km in 33 countries on 6 continents. Total number of participants was 249. Overall winner was Gabor Szenczi from Budapest, Hungary. Gabor cycled 5'008 km. This is the third best result on the Month of Cycling since its beginning in 2015!  Agnikana Senkyrova from Zlin, Czech Republic, was the best female with total of 3'186 km.

Monaco di Baviera Classic Challenge

Igor

From June 20 to June 25, Igor participated in the Monaco di Baviera Classic Challenge. He cycled 1'600 km over Alps and Dolomites with 31'000 m elevation gain and finished on 11. place from around 90 participants. Here is what his days on the race looked like: 

  1. Day 1: 369 km, 6'605 m elevation gain, 16h 49min cycling
  2. Day 2: 311 km, 5'776 m elevation gain, 18h 00min cycling
  3. Day 3: 234 km, 6'195 m elevation gain, 16h 16min cycling
  4. Day 4: 216 km, 5'534 m elevation gain, 14h 44min cycling
  5. Day 5: 284 km,4'197 m elevation gain, 16h 6min cycling
  6. Day 6: 195 km, 2'643 m elevation gain, 11h 2min cycling

Cycle Ride Around Wales - A Pilgrimage visiting the 7 Peace Statues

Rasmirvan Collinson from Bristol spent 12 days cycling around Wales covering nearly 700 miles and climbing in excess of 36,000 feet - Wales is rather undulating to say the least. The bicycle ride was also an opportunity to visit the seven statues of Sri Chinmoy which are located in different parts of Wales.
