Sri Chinmoy - Sri Chinmoy cycling in the 1970s

 

Welcome to the Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team.

The Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team was first formed in the early 1970s. Recently the club has become more active again with members racing in the UK, US and Australia.

The Sri Chinmoy Cycling Team is closely related to the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team , which is one of the world’s largest sponsors of multi day running. The club is inspired by Sri Chinmoy, who believes physical fitness is of great help in the spiritual life. For several years Sri Chinmoy took part in a 24 hour cycle race in New York.

    In Australia the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team organised a Self – Transcendence cycle ride of 2,000 Km. The purpose of the ride is to offer the message of self-transcendence and oneness between people, communities and ultimately between nations.
