Ashrita Furman
Ashrita is best known for holding the Guinness World Records for the most Guinness World Records
In this photo, Ashrita is setting the Guinness World Record for furthest distance cycled underwater! Ashrita took three hours to cycle three kilometres and 37 metres. (GWR)
In 1978, Ashrita cycled 405 miles during the Pepsi 24 hour cycle challenge around Central Park. This distance was achieved despite only starting to train a few months before, and inspired him to go out and break Guinness World Records to show the power of meditation and spirituality. He finished 3rd in the race.

In 2016, a record number of people participated in a variety of different cycle events from the Belgrade Triathlon to extreme mountain triathlons in Slovakia and Czech Republic.
